EURIAS Fellowship
The Flemish Academic Centre for Science and the Arts is happy to announce the
EURIAS Fellowship Programme.
Initiated by NetIAS (Network of European Institutes for Advanced Study), this Fellowship
Programme is an international researcher mobility programme offering 10-month fellowships
in one of the 14 participating institutes. For the academic year 2011/2012 Brussels
is offering 2 fellowships for foreign researchers. You can download the call for applications

New forms for 2012:
VLAC (VLaams ACademisch Centrum) is as the Flemish Academic Centre
for Science and the Arts an IAS (Institute for Advanced Study) organized by the
KVAB (Koninklijke Vlaamse Academie van Belgiƫ), the Royal Flemish Academy.
VLAC is member of NetIAS, the European network of IAS centres.
VLAC is situated in the Palace of the Academies (Paleis der Academiƫn) next to the
Royal Palace in Brussels.
Each year, the Academy awards a limited number of fellowships to foreign authors
and researchers for collaborative residential projects with Flemish colleagues.
VLAC was initiated by the Academy (at request of the Flemish government) in 1999
and first fellows arrived in 2000. In 2010 VLAC celebrated its double lustrum with
a scientific conference on VISION AND MATERIAL.
In 2011 VLAC also takes part with its Brussels centre in EURIAS, the newly
developed EU supported fellowship programme for a 10 month stay at one of the 14
European participating institutions.
