NetIAS
NetIAS – the Network of European Institutes for Advanced Study – was founded in
2004 to promote European research in the humanities and the social sciences and
to discuss possible forms of cooperation among the IAS. NetIAS also wants to articulate
common interests of the IAS, for example with regard to the European Union research
policy, and to pursue a dialogue with the Commission on these issues.
The network brings together 17 Institutes for Advanced Study across Europe:
